Introduction to some of the organizations that work with Aoka through significant partnerships contributing to our operations.
Aoka is registered with Green Map® System, Inc. to use its universal mapping icons and mapmaking resources for the creation of the Ubatuba-Paraty Aoka Green Map for sustainable tourism in the Atlantic Forests of Brazil. As a registered Green Mapmaker, Aoka is further identified as part of a global network of initiatives that strive to promote sustainable living.
Green Map System serves as a channel for sustainable living by:
Strengthening local-global sustainability networks
Expanding the demand for healthier, greener choices
Helping successful initiatives spread to even more communities.
As seen at http://GreenMap.org, this nonprofit organization looks to help current residents, new residents and visitors realize and get involved with local green options, nature and culture available within a community. To spur inclusive participation, Green Map System empowers communities worldwide to chart their progress toward a sustainable future.
Note: Natura Cosmeticos® supported the development of the Portuguese and Spanish versions of the interactive Open Green Map platform, which has facilitated the use of Green Map System by the countries of Latin America. Find out about creating a new Green Map project at http://GreenMap.org/join.
